Welcome to the DoDEA-STAMP Training Module.
This site will lead you through the training process that will prepare you for the STAMP test and ClassPak use.
Each training part may include both movie and other support materials.
The most current information can be found on this support website at: http://www.avantassessment.com/dodea
or on the STAMP website at: http://www.stamptest.net
All movie files are in the QuickTime format.
You will need to have the QuickTime Player application installed on your computer in order to play the training videos.
If you need to install the QuickTime Player, please go to this site: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/player/
and follow the installation instructions.
Movie Files: *NOTE: The Movie Files are very large files (55-165 MB).
These files will take several minutes to download to your computer.
The speed will be influenced by your network connection speed.

1. Module Overview/Introduction:

This part leads you through the six different sections of the training Module and looks briefly
at the current Standards of Foreign Language Education in the context of the new DoDEA standards and the ACTFL standards.
2. Assessment Overview:

This part is an overview of educational "Best Practice" surrounding assessment and outlines appropriate expectations
for student achievement and progress as they advance through levels of proficiency.
3. The STAMP Test:

This part demonstrates the STAMP test, showcasing the technology,
log in process and the test design. Please read the support documentation before logging in to take a demo test on your own.

4. The STAMP Reports and Expectations:

This part demonstrates the STAMP reporting site, showcasing the login process and the various reports available for the teacher.
5. ClassPak:

This part demonstrates the ClassPak tool as an overview presentation.
This will give you a general outline of what the ClassPak resource contains and how to use the different tools.
6. Quiz Builder:

This Part will lead you through the use of the Quiz Builder tool, including set up, scoring and viewing results.
This information is also available through the online tutorial accessed by clicking on the "Help" link on any page of the ClassPak tool.
