About STAMP (Standards-based Measurement of Proficiency)

Web-based Test of Foreign Language Assessment

STAMP is a Web-based assessment tool built to benchmarks characterizing proficiency levels that are related to the ACTFL Performance Guidelines. STAMP reports scores according to benchmarks related to the ACTFL Performance Guidelines at the novice and Intermediate levels. (see samples)

Reports from STAMP provide independently-scored individual results for students and teachers; class-level reports for teachers and coordinators; and building district and state-level reports for administrators. The Web-based reporting system allows teacher-playback of all student oral-responses and the ability to review the writing responses.
