Level 1: | Principiante-Bajo

En este nivel, puedo crear palabras individuales que no tienen un significado extendido.

Puedo compartir algo de vocabulario simple, que trata sobre el prompt/tarea/situación, pero tiendo a tener dificultades para conectar esas palabras para crear significado.

Level 2: | Principiante-Mid

En este nivel, estoy comenzando a desarrollar la habilidad de crear significado conectando gramaticalmente las palabras.

Específicamente, puedo conectar algunos sujetos y verbos básicos o verbos y objetos, pero puedo ser inconsistente al hacer esto.

A menudo estoy limitado en mi vocabulario a temas de nivel Principiante que experimento en mi vida cotidiana o que he aprendido recientemente.

Level 3: | Principiante-Alto

A este nivel, puedo crear oraciones simples con un control y precisión gramatical muy básicos.

A menudo hay errores en mis respuestas, mientras que al mismo tiempo podría tener un buen control con algunas estructuras y funciones muy simples del idioma que acabo de aprender o estudiar.

En los niveles de Principiante, se esperan errores mientras intento crear oraciones simples. Generalmente, las oraciones que soy capaz de crear son muy básicas y simples con pocos, si acaso alguno, detalles añadidos.

Level 4: | Intermedio-Bajo

A este nivel, puedo crear oraciones simples con algunos detalles adicionales; tales oraciones ayudan a crear VARIEDAD.

En el nivel intermedio bajo, las oraciones simples se mejoran con el uso de frases preposicionales, el uso de verbos auxiliares, así como algunos adverbios y una variedad de adjetivos.

Generalmente creo frases independientes (ideas) que pueden moverse sin afectar el significado general de la respuesta. Todavía hay una serie de errores en mi respuesta, pero tengo un control bastante bueno de las frases más básicas. Me siento más seguro al usar diferentes estructuras y expandir el vocabulario y tomar más riesgos con mis respuestas.

Some kids play games or hopskotch with other kids. Some kids stay at home and watch TV or play video games in family room. Lots of kids play Video games with friends. Kids play sports after scholl. Kids watch cartoons on satrday.

Level 5: | Intermedio-Medio

A este nivel, ahora puedo crear suficiente lenguaje para mostrar agrupaciones de ideas.

Mis pensamientos están conectados de manera laxa y no pueden ser movidos sin afectar el significado.

También puedo crear algunas frases con complejidad y soy capaz de usar algunas palabras de transición. También puedo usar más que solo el tiempo presente simple, pero a menudo cometo errores cuando intento usar otros tiempos verbales.

Mi uso de vocabulario se está expandiendo y soy capaz de usar más que el vocabulario usual, de alta frecuencia o más común. Siento que soy capaz de crear nuevo lenguaje por mi cuenta y comunicar mis necesidades cotidianas sin demasiada dificultad.

I have had many good things happen to me in my life. I have so many good memories. One that I feel is the best is playing golf. I played golf since I was 5 years old. My father and mother like to play golf since they were young. They taught me many things about golf. When I was in highschool for the first time, I played on the school team. We were very good. My coach taught me more things. I learned many thing that is important to me now. I learned to not get mad. Sometimes I would hit a bad ball and it would make me mad. I would play bad the rest of the round. My couch was a good teacher.

Level 6: | Intermedio-Alto

A este nivel, tengo un buen control del idioma y me siento bastante seguro sobre un rango cada vez mayor de temas.

Todavía hay algunos errores ocasionales en mi producción de lenguaje, pero eso no obstaculiza mi capacidad para comunicar lo que necesito compartir.

Puedo usar la circunlocución para explicar o describir cosas para las cuales no conozco vocabulario específico o estructuras. Puedo entender y usar diferentes marcos de tiempo y apenas estoy comenzando a desarrollar la habilidad de cambiar la mayoría de los marcos de tiempo con precisión. Puedo usar palabras de transición y conceptos con cierta facilidad. Mi lenguaje tiene un flujo más natural, pero aún puedo tener algunas pausas o vacilaciones no naturales.

One of the best experiences that I have had so far in my life was my trip to France for the student exchange. It has been memorable to see students whose way of life was different from Americans. During the trip, we visited multiple historical sites and museums and restaurants and city shops. The most amazing part was being with a exchange student at their house and living the life they would. Food is a big part of the trip to France, but there was so much more as well. I still think of the fact that our home country is often seen as the one and only. However, the trip to a European country where everything is different has proved people wrong. I know this experience will be one that I will remember forever.

Level 7: | Avanzado-Bajo

A este nivel, mi respuesta contiene una serie de complejidades con un grado de precisión más alto.

Dicho lenguaje me permite abordar cada aspecto del prompt de manera más completa y con mayor profundidad de significado.

Soy capaz de usar vocabulario avanzado o términos avanzados, conjugaciones, etc. con confianza. Siento que puedo crear un flujo natural utilizando la mayor cantidad de detalles y lenguaje descriptivo posible para crear una imagen clara. Aún pueden ocurrir errores con estructuras más complejas. Mi habilidad para cambiar los marcos de tiempo comienza a aumentar en precisión.

I think one of the worst, and best things to happen to me was my concussion. The date was January 4th, 2016. It was the first day back to school from winter break, and I didn't want to get out of bed. I quietly went downstairs and made myself some peanut butter toast in the dark, I felt too lazy to cross the room and turn on the light. I needed to get some schoolwork resting on my bed so I could put it in my bookbag. I tiptoed up the stairs and entered my room. I grabbed my school supplies and with my arms completely full I went down the stairs. I crossed the dark hallway, thinking about what assignments I needed to finish. I still hadn't turned on the light and that was the worst mistake I made that morning. I tripped over a broomstick that was laying on the floor. I couldn't use my arms to catch myself because they were full of schoolwork. I fell flat on my forehead. Felt the floor press into my head and aching pain. I don't remember much of what happened after that, but I eventually arrived at the doctor's office. This concussion lead to great depression and greif for me. I couldn't use technology. It hurt to move. I had almost constant headaches. I slept so much, almost 22 hours a day. But I eventually recovered, I pushed through. However, it permanantly destroyed some of my mental speed so I'm now slower at math and language than I used to be. Even when I got over the concussion, I still had a heavy, heavy depression to deal with. But I'm glad I went through all of that. Thinking back, it's something horrible, absolutely devistating that happened to me. But I can look back with a light, knowing that I'm strong enough to lay in bed feeling grim for so long , and still stand up again.

Level 8: | Avanzado-Intermedio

En este nivel, mi respuesta demuestra mi facilidad con el idioma.

Soy capaz de crear una respuesta que no solo aborda cada aspecto del tema, sino que profundiza en cada punto con claridad y lenguaje conciso.

Soy capaz de incorporar una serie de estructuras más complejas, así como vocabulario avanzado y frases avanzadas con un mayor grado de precisión en la mayoría de la respuesta.

El lenguaje que creo tiene un flujo natural debido a la forma en que incorporo una variedad de patrones y complejidades en mi respuesta. Mi respuesta muestra mi habilidad para crear un lenguaje que tiene sofisticación de habilidades lingüísticas y densidad sintáctica. Mi capacidad para cambiar de marcos de tiempo con precisión es evidente, si se requiere en el indicador.

One of my best experiences in life happened when I was 18 years old. It was when I first began working as a cleaning lady at a conference center for a summer job. The summer after my freshman year of college, I was looking for a job, and unsure if I would find one. My brother told me about a previous place where he had worked, and told me that they were hiring for the summer. I decided to apply and hope for the best. I was soon in contact with the employers and soon had a job lined up. I however did not get the position I initially had hoped for. Instead, I received the job of a cleaning lady. I was going to be a housekeeper at a conference center for the summer. The summer was filled with many taxing events. I often had to deal with problems I had never before thought about as a hotel guest before. I made beds, I cleaned bathrooms, I washed windows, I vacuumed, and I did countless other odd jobs. It was during this time, though, that I realized just how capable I was. It was no uncommon occurrence to work six days a week instead of five, or to have an extra shift at the beginning or end of the day. I was constantly working, and yet I enjoyed myself. I took a lot of pride in my work, at least as much as a person who cleans can. I would push myself to not only clean better but to clean faster. Soon I was cleaning things in half the time it took others to clean. Regardless of this though, I was still surprised when I received employee of the month at only my second month at the job. This made me realize that my work was appreciated and, as I said before, that I was capable of much more than I had ever thought. So even though this was not the most glamorous experience, it has been my most rewarding. I learned the value of hard work and realized just how much I can do. Altogether, this has been an experience that has opened up a world of possibilities to me and for that reason, it is one of my best experiences.
