Powering Up Proficiency Through Effective, Engaging Strategies

In this virtual series, participants will focus on what programs with strong language proficiency outcomes are doing. They’ll examine their own practices of engaging learners in using the language in all four skills (Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking) and assessing language use for proficiency. Teachers will learn effective strategies, focusing on targeted proficiency outcomes that allow learners to practice using the language every day. Between sessions, participants will reflect on and apply their new learning. 

This course is appropriate for Dual Language Immersion and World Language programs. Course content and real-world examples will be tailored to your program type.
