A MESSAGE FROM AVANT’S CEO, DAVID BONG

In today’s global economy and multicultural society, language skills are as valuable as math and science. Awards like the State and Global Seal of Biliteracy have gained popularity as credentials that demonstrate a learner’s language ability as a marketable skill.

At Avant, we believe in the value and power of language however it was learned. I am excited to announce the new tests Avant is releasing this Spring that will give more heritage language learners the chance to qualify for a Seal of Biliteracy or earn High School Credit.

On April 10th, we will be releasing Avant WorldSpeak tests in Amharic, Chin (Hakha), Czech, Hmong, Telugu, Turkish, and Urdu and the Avant STAMP 4S test in Portuguese (Brazilian)!

In addition, Avant’s STAMP Annual Averages for 2018 are here! Each year, schools and districts use this data to compare their program results to the annual averages of STAMP test takers and to help establish meaningful expectations of proficiency.
