Please join us in celebrating Brandee Mau in her new role as a Dual Language Specialist with the Avant MORE Learning zespół! Brandee jest utalentowaną i doświadczoną specjalistką językową z imponującym doświadczeniem w edukacji i lingwistyce. Jej kariera koncentrowała się na wspieraniu potencjału uczniów języków obcych i poprawie wyników nauki języków poprzez skuteczne strategie nauczania i oceny.

Before joining the Avant team Brandee spent eight years as a German and Russian Dual Language Immersion Director in Utah. Prior to that, Brandee was a high school German teacher and district curriculum facilitator in Wyoming for 16 years. Throughout her career, Brandee committed to developing effective language learning strategies, creating innovative curriculum, and coaching language teachers of all grades.

Brandee played a significant role in multiple state standards revisions and served on state and national language association boards and committees. She worked to align proficiency and course expectations, ensuring that her students received a high-quality language education that prepared them for success in the 21st century. She was also involved in the College Board committee responsible for developing and launching the revised AP German Language and Culture exam.

Her expertise in language assessment has been instrumental in the further development of the Avant STAMP WS test, an accurate and accessible assessment for less commonly tested languages.

When she’s not working, Brandee enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, planning and enjoying new adventures, and working in her flower beds. Her passion for language and education is truly inspiring and she is a valued member of the Avant team. Reach out to Brandee to help us welcome her.
