Setting Up Avant Tests in Clever
Once your Clever Admin has added the Avant Assessment Application to the Teacher Dashboard from the Clever Library, you will be able to click the application icon and access the Avant Assessment Application Teacher Dashboard.
Avant Assessment’s online language proficiency tests must be taken in a proctored environment with a proctor who is authorized by the organization sponsoring the test.
Make sure to read the below instructions and watch the video tutorial within the Teacher Dashboard prior to test preparation.
Teachers will have two options to Set Up Avant language assessments within Teacher Dashboard:
Option 1 – Teachers access the Teacher Dashboard to set up tests (assign estimated testing date, languages) and allow students to take the test. Prior to this, Testing Coordinator Assigns tests to classes (e.g. STAMP 4S, STAMP 4Se).
Option 2 – Teachers access the Teacher Dashboard to allow students to take the test. Prior to this, Testing Coordinator Assigns tests to classes (e.g. STAMP 4S, STAMP 4Se), estimated testing date and languages.

Teachers access the Teacher Dashboard to prepare the test (assign estimated testing date, languages) and allow students to take the test.
Prior to this, Testing Coordinator Assigns tests to classes (e.g. STAMP 4S, STAMP 4Se).
Prior to the day of testing
Access the Avant Assessment Teacher Dashboard from within Clever
Prepare the test for the class by clicking on the below icons within the Teacher Dashboard
Verify all students are rostered for the test

Verify all students are rostered for the test

Check the Student Roster by clicking the list icon to display a list of students rostered in the class.

Prepare the test by clicking the gear icon, and set up the test for the class by identifying the language of the test and the testing date within the Teacher Dashboard
Note: The gear icon is clickable when the test is ready for the teacher to set up by a Testing Coordinator
Once you prepare the test, the test status automatically will display “Testing Paused” in the “Status” column, and the play icon will be displayed in the “Actions” column. It means that testing is paused and students will not be allowed to enter into the test

Double-check the student roster by clicking the list icon to display a list of students rostered in the class

Day of Testing
Allow students to enter the test within the Teacher Dashboard when the test is ready for administering.
Proctor the test

Allow students to take the test by by clicking on the play icon and setting the test status to “Testing Ready” . Test status will change from “Testing Paused” to “Testing Ready” in “Status” column

After Testing
Disallow students to take the test
Review results

Disallow students to take the test by clicking on the pause icon and setting the test status to “Testing Paused”. Test status will change from “Testing Ready” to “Testing Paused” in the “Status” column

Review results by clicking on the search icon. You will be automatically redirected to the Avant testing results and reports
