STAMP WS Guides Overview
We have created these guides for testing coordinators and teachers to assist them in assessing test takers, analyzing results, using training tools to accelerate student proficiency, and achieve their language proficiency goals using the STAMP WS assessment.
Avant’s STAndards-based Measurement of Proficiency or STAMP is a web-based and computer-adaptive language proficiency assessment that determines language proficiency for individuals grade seven through adult (ages 13 through adult) in a variety of combinations.

Avant STAMP WS Sample Test
A 2-SKILL LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY TEST
GRADES 7-ADULT
In these sample tests you will experience how the assessment flows and the types of questions for all levels of difficulty. You will not receive a score at the end. You will not experience the computer-adaptive technology as in the actual test. You must complete the Self-Evaluation Reading section before the Writing section. The Self-Evaluation Listening section must be completed before the Speaking section.
